Developer's Council Meeting - NEW BUILDING LOCATION
Hello folks,
I would like to take a minute to say thank you and I am honored to have the experience to act as chair of the Developer’s Council. I am very excited about the opportunity we have this year to change some potential policy that will benefit all of us. Thank you to the past Chairmen who have set the precedence with the City. With that being said, I wanted to include the topics that we plan on discussing on the 15th:
- Update on the potential new zoning.. I have labeled it R-1RS (R-1 Reduced Setback)
- 5’ Front set back in cul-de-sacs
- 20’ Front set back
- 5’ Side set back on corner lots (excluding thoroughfares)
- Zero setback for “out building”, or “detached side facing garage” (not including overhang, where over hang is present, the overhang will be considered the corner of the structure)
- Any newly annexed land that falls into transitional zoning be defaulted into R-1RS
- Continue discussion and next steps for Playa lake ownership and potential deeding to City of Lubbock
- How does this affect reclamation
- Maintenance
- How do Parks fit into this discussion
- Other Business
- Update on the Drainage Criteria Manual stakeholders meeting
